@jcfinc12  Sometimes if you push the button for Spanish you will get someone that speaks Americanized English.

For late payments you have to write the creditor directly. The letter is called a goodwill letter.  In this letter you request removal of late payments.

Hi! Im new here =) Thank you!

Can late payments be EE'd? Or only Full/closed/CO derogatory accounts?

@Dreamy_Surf yes, lates can be requested for EE as they are considered adverse information as defined by the FCRA... ALL EEs need to be requested through the credit bureaus based on their own individual policies (not the creditors) on granting EEs. TU is 6 months, EX is 3 months and EQ is 30 days.

I dispute with TransUnion online 6 months early and accounts are removed instantly. I've been doing this since November and successfully gotten 5 accounts removed. I never call.

@sdtrew How do you count the 6 months if you don't mind my asking? For instance:

Date to fall off is: 01/2025 -- what month do I dispute? 08/2024 or 07/2024?

Do I count the fall off month?
