Alias and Pluries Summons

If an Alias and Pluries Summons was issued 6 months ago and the defendent hasn't been served.   Does the Plantiff need to renew it? When does the case get dismissed?  Or can the Plantiff just renew anytime?  Thanks in advance.

Where was this legal action filed ?   Your best course of action would be to discuss this with an attorney with knowledge of the relevant jurisdiction.

A&P summons are already an extension on the original summons filed. They do generally have an expiration date, and can also be renewed. Both those time frames are going to vary by state law. There could be SOL consequences as well because most of the time they're based off the original date. So, it would be most beneficial for you to speak to a local attorney.
