Re: Comenity deleting late payments

Wasn't this their transition time with Bread? There was a period of time where it was horrific trying to login, make payments, etc with them as the site was down and you couldn't even call in.

I'd be infuriated with this if they had done it to me. I would even file a complaint with the CFPB and BBB over it.

Re: Comenity deleting late payments

Can you please tell me how you did this?  I spoke to a customer rep, that persons manager, and then the disputes manager and they all said the bank doesn't handle this over the phone and I had to send a letter. Do you know the title of the person that helped you?

Good news fellow MyFico-ers! I reached out to comenity a couple weeks ago because to my HORROR I got a 30 day late payment for my Children's Place card. I was under the impression that it was on autopay but it was NOT! I took a chance and called their 1800 number and spoke to a representative that transfered me to a manager who was able to update their records to show that month as CURRENT.

A few days later I got the corresponding letter for this change for my records that states that 4 credit bureaus will be updated: Equifax, Transunion, Experian and Innovis Data removing the 30 day late payment.

Just a background on my particular case: I have never had a late payment since I opened my first account with them about 6+ years ago and I have more than 5 accounts with them. The representative mentioned that there cannot be another late payment for the next year and a half or they will not be able to help me. So it seems like they are credit friendly. Good luck to all!

I'm 0-for-3, try what this poster did @Tj7014 . I continue to send letters to this address but none have been succesful thus far.

Re: Comenity deleting late payments

Just wanted to add an update/ DP:

Tried the call and speak to a supervisor method. The "senior accounts specialist" was unable to view my 30d late payment from 10/2021, his system only let him see as far back as 1/2022. He did however give me a better address, the credit report dispute branch:
