I am a few months away from being 100% clean. I am within the window for TU EE love. I have one account already removed and another that should go next month. The third and final is giving me some trouble. It is a charged off auto account. Last payment made by me was Nov 2016. Bureau shows last payment as April 2017. I'm guessing that is from when the car was sold. Shouldn't the date reflect the last payment actually made by me? When I did the initial EE attempt they verified the date as accurate. How should I tackle this to get it gone now?
Doesnt go by last payment date. Its the first late of the string of lates which ended with the CO status.
If your payment in November of 2016 was the first late that eventually led to the CO, you're not eligible for an EE until June this year. As FireMedic1 said, it goes by the the DoFD that led to the CO.
