It's reported that the Federal Student Debt relief may come in spite of recent challenges. If you haven't already looked at whether this is an option for you, you may want to do so.

*Federal judge in Texas, always gotta muck it up somehow. Hopefully they use this as part of the justification to do another extension while it's in limbo and then get this sorted out too.

Federal student loan payments are paused once again. The end of the pause is contingent on the litigation surrounding the Federal Student Debt Relief being completed.

Let's hope it's a happy ending. With an indefinite end date, it could take some of us by surprise when the payments resume.

Have to agree to disagree as costing taxpayers alot of $.  It shouldn't be a surprise either as was "LAST" time end of dec. until recent announcement.  People should expect to start making payments soon as been extended way beyond what has been needed as nothing is free in life.  I wish you the best of luck though.

I dont know how it could be a surprise to anyone!  No payments for 2 years already, and we get plenty of notice when the payments are going to restart.  Folks have had more than enough time to save back a little money to start their loan payments again.
