I can't remember if I made a post about this already but my cap one just posted it's 3rd statement and chase just posted it's 2nd. And the % of accounts paid as agreed still has not changed. Anyone know how many months it takes for this metric to change?
when I click on the question mark to get more info it doesn't really tell me anything it just says "this is number of rated accounts paid as agreed meaning never late" or something like that
You can search your post history and the search function also works.
Not clear to me what you are talking about. Some app or website is displaying your % of accounts paid as agreed? What is the unchanged number?
"Short" credit history, a "thin" credit history, or both will have that
as a risk factor statement.
Don't know the time or minimum number's for it to go away.
It is not a negative, horrible thing, anyone can see you don't have late's and have been paying.
It will go away with time &/or more accounts.
My credit history is pretty short and until recently ive always had the reason under 'factors affecting score' of 'few accounts (or # of accounts) paid on time'
it went away after my sixth and seventh cc started reporting.
my first five accounts are about three years old and all never late.
Thank you for the replies,
yes, I do have that reason code, but I was actually talking about the metric itself, if you got to the fico app, and you click on payment history, it shows a breakdown of some metrics
30 day lates
60 day lates
% of accounts paid as agreed.
etc
my equifax is my dirty profile with a missed payment so the % was at 50%, I've since added 2 additional accounts which should bring the % of accounts up to 3/4 or 75%. But it hasn't budged. So I was wondering how many months you need to be on time for fico to consider the account "paid as agreed". Because technically 3/3 payments for cap one and 2/2 for chase are both paid as agreed, but I also know that's a very small sample size.
I don't think this metric itself affects your score. But it does affect the rating for payment history (poor, fair, good, exceptional)

Think I figured it out, I called my fico support help line and they said that you need a minimum of 6 payments before an account is considered "paid as agreed"
Since I only have 3 on cap 1 and 2 on chase, that's why my % hasn't changed.
its nice to know that there is a hard requirement and that's the issue. I was starting to think chase and cap one weren't reporting my payments for some reason.
thanks guys!
Interesting factoid, I didn't know that. Need 6 in a row.
