Timothy, did your EX PFICO show up on your MC right away or did it take a while?  Since it took only one day for me, now that I think about it, it makes sense that right now they're just showing me the score they pulled for approval.

Re: I already have my PFICO!

Sylvia, a PFICO is a FICO, not a FAKO.  It's a bankcard enhanced version of your classic FICO score.

I have no idea how to explain the discrepancy in the score ranges of the two versions.  Anyone?

the score range is the funny part for me. I mean we have had it drilled into us that the PFICO is a real FICO blah blah blah, but how could it be if the scoring range is different? I mean the FICO gold seal does say 300-850 is the FICO range so one would expect any FICO score to be in that range.

I mean if someone gets a PFICO of 870 what does that mean in FICO terms?

I understand that Cheddar. I was saying that tongue in cheek.

Even though it IS a true and genuine FICO score, it must be treated for our reality purposes, just like any other FAKO score.

I'm grateful for WaMu posting it, but other than seeing my progress on a line graph from month-to-month, it cannot serve any real purpose.

Now if F.I. were to offer us the ability to purchase the bankcard enhanced version of FICO(PFICO), to enable us to have a consistent scoring benchmark through all 3 CRA's, that's an entirely different matter. And I would be HIGHLY interesting in purchasing THAT product. In fact, I WOULD. Smiley Happy

Re: I already have my PFICO!

Thanks for the congrats, concord!  They gave me $15K and 0% on purchases until 1/1/10 (21 months from now), 12.99% after that.

To get the 0% deal I had to BT at least $100.  I BT'd $100 from Cap1 that was waiting to be PIFfed anyway, which I will PIF as soon as it hits the WaMu card.
