Transunion Inquiries dropping early

I know I have read that other people reported that occassionally Transunion "lost" some of their inquiries.

3 weeks ago I had 4 recent inquiries on TU. 2 weeks ago 1 dropped for some unknown reason and I had 3 remaining. Last week another dropped. So I had 2. Today another dropped and I have only a single remaining inquiry.

Do these ever "re-appear" or is this just dumb luck that is permanent?

Your very lucky! I would really be surprised if they reappeared. That would just be WRONG!!!!!

They seem to often reappear in batches. I remember last summer that happened.

If you monitor your credit regularly with a 3rd party report provider like true credit or credit secure or whatever and pull your reports daily then most likely the soft pulls initiated by these services are bumping off the hard inquiries. TU has been getting better about adding them back. This has been all over the web for years. Just do a search for "bumpage" or "B*" and you will find more than you ever wanted to know about it.
