ok, they pulled my cr again!

I just checked my cr and this ca did another soft pull!! The one I saw yeaterday was dated 7/12, now the one that I see today is dated 7/11. Should I still just ignore them? I'm getting really nervous about this. How do I protect myself. If there is something out there that I may own, it would have to be beyong sol cause I have not been late or missed any payments on anything in over 6 years!

If they have a alledge debt that belongs to me why aren't they doing a hard pull?

Call the CRA and ask them. You could also put a block on your report for preapprovals sometimes that will help.

I would call. If there is something still lingering from the past, wouldn't you want to at least know about it, so it wouldn't just rear it's ugly head sometime in the future unexpectadly? Also you may want to make sure it's even you and not some ID theft. I would call.

I don't think you should stress over this...If there is a lose debt out there, and they are fishing they will most likely contact you. You will then have the opportunity to DV, PFD, or ignore. Be happy you are where you are!

I agree with Bowsd on this one. It's always best to call and find out. You may regret it later.

Yeah collection seem to pop up at the most inoprotune time. It's not like you have to agree to anything, but for your own piece of mind and having to deal with going forward. Let's just say for arguments sake you forget to pay a bill like 5 years ago and it's for a small amount you could easily pay off and is so wouldn't you want to kow about before it appears on your credit report?

I called and it's a debt that is over 7 years ago that I disputed with another ca about 3 months ago, this must be a JDB. The other ca never responsed to my DV. I asked this ca to send me a letter. Should I wait for the letter or DV them now?

the JDB are pond scum.... why can they get away with this, I don't understand. SOL is SOL.
