I paid off all my collection accounts in 02-03 I've had no "new" negative entries on my credit report since then. 4 - 5 years later I get my Nov 07 quarterly credit report and I have two new collections. I called the collection agency and they told me it was for two parking tickets from 7-2000 and 5-2001. I used to loan my car out so it's possible that my car was involved.
Here are my questions....
To anyone with experience in this situation, does this sound feasible?
I've already contacted the credit bureau with a not mine dispute.
Should I pay these collections?

They have to prove it was for you. Did you go to court or get a ticket in the mail I would be very careful and send the DV let first. Dont jump the gun cause you cant fix it later and they can mark it as Paid Collection and you never want to admit to a ticket without going to court if you were not the one at fault.Debbie
