I have to admit, I've never heard Lyle sing anything. Just had him follow me around like a puppy dog for awhile. I didn't even know he was a singer, just ugly! And that hair?? When I finally heard my friend run up and ask for his autograph, I was confused, so I pulled her to the side to ask exactly WHO he was. She said he was a singer. Ok.... with the hair standing straight up in a mohawk almost, I had to ask if it was punk rock. I was shocked when he told me he was a country singer. I listen to some country, so I asked him to name a song of his that was popular at the moment. He stammered and finally said, if I remember correctly, "she's my woman, she's my wife". Never heard of it! So I asked if he could sing some of the song to me to see if I'd recognize it then. That's when he proceeded to tell me he couldn't sing! LOL.
I was young and he was just too ugly for me. I finally ask him to stop following me around and it wasn't long after I met new wife, Julia Roberts. She looked worse than he did, if that was possible. No makeup, hair pulled in a ponytail, a loose black dress that fit like a potatoe sack and no sock with white canvas tennis shoes! Ugh!! She begged me to go with her to the winner's circle to present the trophy to the winner of the horse race. I worked at Delta Downs at the time... many moons ago. Lyle owned some horses who raced there. I'm glad you had a good time and Lyle has finally learned to sing. Too bad he didn't get better looking
He is a nice man, I will say that. Very polite indeed.
Missed you guys, but I've been a bit ill and nerves rattled with DH's impending deployment.
