Do student loans in deferment affect your score?

I have like 50K in student loans but they are in deferment and are not due to be paid yet. Do these affect my credit score?

No, it does not. As long as you pay when they are due, and make all payments on time, it will help your credit score. Good luck!

Total debt balances, number of balances on all accounts do affect your score a certain amount. They also can influence a LO review based upon the level of debt accumulation.

FICO score is only part of the equation.

my fico reports mention that the high amount of my student loans is a negative factor against my score, but since that's not really anything i can change quickly, i guess it's just too bad! LOL

On my it showed a balance for the total amount and nothing being paid, at the time of getting an auto loan I explained the deferment/grace period to them and they were able to float me a preowned loan at 29%,
