i called for a recon on the original $7k that I asked for was told it would be a hard pull, when I asked if the original pull could be used she said she's seen it go both ways (a new pull/use original) I took my chances and got the $7k credit limit

i hit the luv button on capital one and got the 2-3 day reply, yesterday i receive a decline because my credit report includes an address outside the U.S. I do reside in the US Virgin Islands and i'm unsure how to proceed with a recon. Any advice would be appreciated. Some history this card is originally owned by HSBC. I have had a capital one card before but closed it in good standing because I was unable to get any CLI from them on my rebuilder. I stayed at $500 and closed that card in 2010.

Does anyone know if the HOME program under HUD will allow financing on a home that has a swimming pool? Apparently in my area this has never come up so they are unsure of the answer.

From my experience with the USDA program, my loans are $0 under the IBR which I was told they can't accept a zero balance the system requires them to use 1% unless I can provide documentation with another amount. They asked me to provide atleast 6 months worth of payments, I started making a $50.00 payment monthly, and when I provided the reciept they used that figure.

I have been under contract on a home from August 2013, the contract expired and I have requested an extension from the seller. However, the seller is asking me for an application status letter from Rural Development. When asking for the extension I communicated with my realtor that my file is on hold with RD because the contract to purchase has expired and they can't go forward without an extension to the contract, Do I owe the seller a letter directly from RD explaining this or should my statement be enough?

Follow up with USDA my contract expired during the shut down 10/7/2013 however I emailed during the shutdown to inquire about the extension and when the government reopened I got an extension from the 20th for 30 days

Good Morning, I am seeking guidance and advice on how to proceed with a collection notice I received. I am in the process of purchasing a home through the Rural Development 502 Direct Loam program, I have received my eligibility notice and have all requested information excluding 1 contractors estimate. I got the collections letter over the weekend from my parent's house, it was for service rendered earlier this year at an out of state facility, a few days prior to receiving the notice I mailed a check to the facility which as of this morning hasn't been cashed. How exactly do I proceed; this collections item has not hit my credit report as of this morning, and I would like for it stay clear of my reports while i'm in the middle of this process

Thank you woozy for your reply I received an eligibility certificate for $150,221 even with the ding and I'm bringing my utilization down. The problem I ran into was the my student loan is in an IBR with $0.00 repayment and they couldn't enter 0 into the calculations so now I make payment just under $100 and provided them with the receipts. I'm in the market for a tiny house because they only allow 1,300 sq Ft for a 3 bedroom. I can live with that however. Outside of credit pulling fees it is free. Night, I have a question about applying for my USDA 502 Direct I'm nervous about turning over the application because I have a 60 day late on my ACS education student loan from March 2013, really new hit.. This is the only blemish on my credit report, and currently my debt to credit ratio is high, should I attempt to challenge or goodwill the late fee before I apply? I'm using Housing Finance Authority to get the home and they stated my income $26,000 was too weak, but referred me to USDA so I'm just a bit discouraged as it is and seeking advise.
