Yes, I do have two credit cards from NFCU, Cashrewards and Platinum, but the BT offer came on Cashrewards offer which requires me to provide them my creditors account numbers, address and amount that I want to get trasnferred from....Nothing about depositing into my checking account. Further, convience checks will not be considered as BT which is very clearly written on BT offer received by NFCU. Any over-payment would/could trigger a flag for fraud by receiving bank which I certainly not interested in doing so. Anyway, I appreciate your insight. @Janneman OK, you must have misunderstood my email as this is actually the easier method to draw cash (other than a PLOC). Hopefully this explanation is clearer? You can transfer funds from the Platinum card directly to your NFCU deposit account. Next, if you have a Capital One or other bank card that has a 0 BT or Cash Advance fee you use that card to pay off the NFCU Platinum. Finally, use NFCU Cashrewards BT to pay off the Capital One (or other) card. What you need do is start the transfer from your Capital One card 2-3 days before the cash advance from the Platinum so you incur minimum interest. You get to do whatever you want with the cash in your deposit account for the bare minimum interest charged. Last time I did this it was $19 total. Much cheaper than any 1-3% BT fee. As an example: 1) 4/6/26 Capital One: BT 5k to NFCU Platinum card, 3-4 days (APR interest, 0 fee) 2) 4/6/26 NFCU CashReward: BT 5k to Capital One card, 1-2 days (0 fee) 3) 4/8-9/26 NFCU Platinum: transfer 5k to NFCU Checking/Savings account, Instant (cash advance interest, 0 fee) There are no credit balances that require refund checks. Only minimum interest on Cap One and Platinum statements. PIF as soon as statements cut. Reminder: Use payment addresses from your card statements. Transfer funds from the NFCU App -Move Money -Start Transfer To - must choose a NFCU Deposit Account (external accounts won't work) From - scroll down to the credit card accounts
