They are not reporting that they took multople charge-offs. They are reporting that the account was, for multiple months, both delinquent and had, at some prior point in time, been subjected to a charge-off. The CRA reporting manual permits a creditor, once an account has been charged to profit and loss, to optionally, at their discretion, report subsequent delinquency status simply as CO rather than in terms of days of delinquency, such as 120-late or 150-late. Thus, a showing of CO for multiple months is common and permissilbe, and is not the reporting of havng taken multiple charge-offs. You can dispute the accuracy of the reported payment history profile if you wish correction. Accurate reporting could include any one of the following: Jul CO Aug CO Sept CO Oct CO Jul 90 late Aug CO Sept CO Oct CO Jul 90 late Aug 120 late Sept CO Oct CO Jul 90 late Aug 120 late Sept 150 late Oct CO etc ........ Since the last and current status is shown as CO, it wont make any difference in your scoring, as impact of a CO is applied based on its DOFD, you may decide not to dispute, but as reported, it is inaccurate.
