I have had a discover card with $500CL since 2009, and a Walmart card $600 from 2012, amazon $800 from March 2015. It has been imposible for me to get a real credit card.

So a week or so ago I asked my parents to put me on their Costco AMEX ($20,000CL 5% util)

I checked my FAKO this morning and it went from 631 to 710...FICO went from 639 to 660-672

Applied for Chase Slate - $3,000

Applied for AMEX everyday -$2,000

Applied for Bank of America Visa - $2,000

Applied for CapitalOne Quicksilver -$3,000

CapitalOne Venture - $5,000

some other card i forget the name of - $1,000

Chase Freedom denied

Best Buy - Declined

Citi Double Rewards - Declined...and im done for today. My score will probably take a big hit from all these Hard Inqs, right??

I'm amazed at all the credit I just got. I know its pennies for you guys with $100,000+ CLs, but this is going to do wonders for my credit in the long run.

Now keep your own ccs intact, pay one time, keep your util low and eventually spin off your parent's amex card from your cras. In time, you will be hitting the high 700s on your own power. Good luck and keep up the good work!
