As most of you know, I recently had my foreclosure finalize in June of 2015. That same month, I signed up for Discover Cashback and was effective when my statement cut, which was the first week of June. Since I only got $300 CLI during the gravy train days in May, I hit that luv button on July 6th and got a modest $500 CLI.
Well, in the last 3 months, I ran about $13,000 through my card to show Discover some usage and to maximize the double cashback. Hit the luv on Saturday the 4th, and logged in earlier to see:
Old Limit: $7,800
New Limit: $12,800
That's right, even with a 3 month old foreclosure, I got a $5,000 CLI with heavy usage! Current FICO scores are on page 1 of my main thread, found in my signature!
Figured I would just edit this thread instead of make a new one. I haven't really been thinking about CLI since my last one on September 8th, but I figured I would request one anyways, today February 4th. Well, $6,500 bump on my limit! TU FICO is now at 695 as well!
Congrats
Congrats! Nice increases.

Congratulations, Jager!
Very happy that your recovery is progressing so well!
Thanks! Next goal: get the other 3 of 6 cards above a $10k limit!
And for all those who are wondering, I went to Card Details -> Request Increase. However, as of today, that link is now missing.
Wow. I have one collection for $170 and can't get them to raise the $500 limit for nothing. Maybe using the card more often will be the answer.
