Complete processing and verification of your Sportsman's Guide Visa
® application can take up to 48 hours. To complete this order, we will need to place this order on a different credit card.
You will still receive your 2.5 percent discount on this order. You will receive notification by mail within 10 days regarding your application.
I'm not sure if this means I will be approved or turned down. Any helpful comments would be appreciated.
Many thanks my friend. Needless to say, I will be on pins and needles waiting! LOL

Did you get the popup naturally or did you plug in a preapproved URL? The only time I've heard of a delay in processing from Comenity is when using a preapproval URL rather than getting the popup. The data they pull is in real time when they make their offers, so delays often mean something weird happened. Hoping for the best, though. It could be as simple as their system being down.
Looks like a definate possible to me. Gd luck !
STILL WAITING, WHO DO I CALL? What number do I call to check for an update? Also what happens if I see the popup again?
I got the exact same delayed approval pop up box after performing the SCT. After about thirty seconds I hit the refresh button on my iPad's browser, re-hit the agree and submit button, and I got the congratulatory message stating that I was approved. A CL was not listed but I've read on these forums that with Sportsman's that's normal.
A few minutes after placing my order I received this email:
"Thank you for using Sportsman's Guide Buyer's Club Advantage Visa card. You have received a discount of 2.50% on your merchandise cost for a savings on this order of $0.75.
Your Buyer's Club savings on this order, including the Buyer's Club Advantage discount, total $3.75."
This all happened four days ago. My order is listed at Sportsman's though it hasn't been assigned a tracking number yet and I haven't heard anything from Comenity. Right now I'm cautiously optimistic. I'll let you know when anything meaningful takes place. Good luck with getting your card!
I finally got hold of somebody at Comenity and I was told that a letter was on its way. He couldn't (or wouldn't) tell me if I was approved or not. I will have to wait and see when the letter gets here.
