Had not applied for credit in 3+ years and didn't think he had good credit.
First stop - Amex for a CLI... log in and I see a $4k balance on a $5500 or so credit line.
I said let's see where we can put that balance first and then come back and CLI that in a month.

Pre-Qual Venture, Venture One and Quicksilver - Venture First $15k, QS $10k... Boom, now we are rolling!
Over to USAA - Apply for BASIC Visa for BT offers and ongoing rates - Instant $9500 at 10%
Over to Navy - Shocked he didn't have it... got instantly approved for checking and savings... submit for credit card - site crash (I died! I so wanted to see a $25k instant) we will come back to that Thursday or Friday.
Over to chase real quick - pre-qual for freedom, slate, and CSP... I said I take back moving Amex to QS, Chase Slate is FAR better and you can do back to back and combine them.
Slate first $3200, back over to CSP and it says thanks for applying from the slate app... I said wait, Force close, restart private browser, run pre-qual again... all 3 again... click on CSP, apply and instant $5k!
I'll update Navy when we are able to do that.
I said, now aren't you happy you applied now, it's silly to be paying interest when you have fantastic credit!!
