I've had a Cap One card for 10 years, initial limit was $2000. They increased it to $3000 about 6 years ago and won't increase it any further, no matter what. I use it sparingly, maybe charge $200 every few months, and pay it off. I have over $100,000 in CC limits on about 6 other cards, averge limit is about $15,000. Cap One is the only one that
has this low limit. MyFICO score is 759 currently(Equifax).
The reason I don't use the card more, is because I don't want to be bothered wondering if I am nearing my limit whenever I make a purchase, especially if I make a large purchase or two.
Congrats to OP on CL increase, it is at least good to see that they actually do authorize higher lines of credit.
