I was planning to do a CLI on both
Does anybody know in general, what the second CLI should consist of after the first 3X CLI that AMEX usually grants?
@ youngandcreditwrthy: How far are you from the 61 day mark? Let us know how it goes.

Does anyone know if it's better to have two similar limits ie (2) cards @ $7,500 or (1) card @ $6,000 and the other @ $9,000. Is there a difference on how lenders evaluate this? Thanks

I'd say having a limit of $9k would be more important for setting precedent for lenders trusting you with higher limits in general... your creditors could start to get competitive and see who can give you the highest..... now for util purposes, it really wouldn't matter LOL :-P

I've had the Costco card for over a year and a half, started with 4200 limit, months later, 4800, 6 months 9600, and now as of today 12,000. Make numerous payments throughout the month and have paid quite, util is always under 25%, I love the rewards that we get with this card and Amex is a great company to deal with.

Guys, I got approved for Amex Detla for $1000 just a couple of weeks ago. I was wondering if my score is supposed to improved a bit in order to get approved for a second Amex in January next year or a 3X CLI?

This. Ask for the one you use the most first.
