ANOTHER NFCU cli

To any doubters...join NFCU immediately!!! As a person who is ripe for cld in the present economic state, I was shocked to go from 15k to 20k on our Flagship visa. Thanks and kudos to Cobra19 who despite the fact that my Eq had dropped 50 pts to 625 and the fact that we were at nearly 80% util on the card told me to "go for it" because Navy looks at your payment history more than anything. You've got a witness in me!! I could be the poster child for cld's but I'm so happy right now! Oh, did I mention they gave me the nRewards last week for $8500?   I'M GOOD!!!!

I'm a fellow believer in Navy Fed. They take

excellent care of the membership, and as long

as you pay on time good things will happen.

Your CLI is proof of that fact.

And you know the best part? They are REAL

credit limits. None of this getting a 10k limit

from banks when they really want you to use

only 4k of it. Once Navy Fed performs their

due diligence, they trust you to be good for

the entire amount. That just doesn't happen

every day, and it's a big reason why I prefer

CU's over banks...

You're gonna LOVE the nRewards card. We have

both the Visa and Mastercard, and the rewards add

up a lot faster than you think. And $8,500 is nothing

to sneeze at...

Once again, Congrats on the new cards. I agree with you ---

I like you LOVE NAVY FEDERAL. Most of my other lines are small, just beginning of the week I posted on my nfcu mc I went from $1500 to $12500 on a soft pull. I only asked to match the limit on my nfcu visa which was $6500 but she said I was approved for $12500 did I want to take that..I almost chocked I had my1st double digit limit I was so stoked...

So then yesterday I thought I'm just going to call and see if I could get a soft on my nfcu visa with a soft as well..I was afraid bc I didnt want to push my luck but as  ong as it wasnt a hard I was ok with it. Well low and behold they raised the limit on it to $12500 also so within a week I went from $1500 to $12,500 and from $6500 to $12,500...Now after this I dont know how often you can even get an increase but I am so happy for myself and everyone!

$17,000 in CLI's in a week is not bad for

government work! LOL 

If I'm not mistaken, every 6 months is the

magic number for CLI requests. If the truth

be known, a Member can ask for one at

any time. But the folks in Navy Fed's credit

card dept said 6 months, so I'd go with that.

All soft pulls every 6 months.

Thanks guys and WTG Bamagirl!! But I must say again, thanks thanks thanks to Cobra19!!  I'm seriously smitten with NFCU and haven't felt this giddy since I married DH (hot Marine) nearly 25 yrs ago. We celebrate 25 yrs in 2 wks (cruising the Caribbean)!!

The answer to your question is yes, bamagirl1.

I got a cli on my NAVChek back in November.

Soft pulls every 6 months for all unsecured

credit (credit cards and lines of credit).

Are these CLI with the use of a backdoor number?? Or just calling the number on the card?
