So I stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton for 5 nights equaling to 6767 points for they stay. I paid with my Amex HHonors card which says itll be 7x points if I pay directly. Does this mean its 6767 times 7? Or how does it work.
How much was the cost of the stay, in dollars, excluding things like taxes?
That number, x 7, should be your HHonors points earning by paying for the stay with the credit card.
If the 6,767 points are what Hilton tells you you got immediately for the stay as a member, then the AMEX points should be in addition to that.
To rephrase it, you get the points for the stay just by being an HHonors member.
You get the 7x for the spend portion that goes through the AMEX, which will be sent to your HHonors account when the next AMEX statement cuts.

It was $611 total. About $550-580 without taxes/etc. 6767 was the number of points for that stay according to the receipt I got being a member.
Probably ~4,200 additional points from using the AMEX card.
