BofA CLI

Thanks to the backdoor number. 800-421-2110. CLI 7200 to 11000. Currently have a 705 score thanks to Chase closing my Providian>WaMu>Chase card. Paid the BofA account off in full last week, paid a handful of large chunks over two months. My current util is about 50% w/o the payoff but have some unreported 0 balances so utilization should be more like 20-30%. Been with BofA for about 8 years. They asked income questions and I only gave them my W2 income and not my business income.

Re: BofA CLI

Karatz,

Which CRA did they pull?

FICO scores on November 17, 2014 (prior to applying for and being approved my mortgage)

EX=738
EQ=735
TU=754

FICO scores on March 4, 2015 after being approved for mortgage and buying the home, the mortgage isn't yet reporting.
EX- 689 EQ- 739 TU- 739

Re: BofA CLI

With 50% util, I'm surprised they didn't close the account. Congrats nonetheless.

I used the luv button in Jul and got the "call in" message, which I did. The analyst told me everybody gets the call in message or an immediate denial these days. I just reviewed the info I had entered and was increased from $3.5K to $7.5K. Unless BofA explicitly tells you they are going to require a hard pull this is done on a soft. On a previous occasion a credit analyst told me they rarely hard pull for a CLI unless you are asking too often. In my case it looks like they softed EX at the time of my luv button request. They softed TU the next month for AR. That is the only INQ I show on TU for BofA in two years. This particular credit analyst did a good job of trying to qualify me for the highest possible CLI. I also PC'ed from Amex Cash Rewards to Amex Accelerated Cash Rewards at the same time. I am still waiting for the dust to settle on that deal.

BTW - My account was not PIF at the time of my request. For timing purposes I had to make the request before I could PIF. I am about to PIF the account now for the first time since it was opened in April 2008. The only transaction I have ever run through it was a BT at application time.

Sorry lost this somehow. They did a soft pull. I have one other account reporting today as zero. I have a free CR from TransUnion due so I'll get that one, otherwise I don't really wanna pay for any more at this time. Equifax will give me one in <30 cause of an error, so I might get lucky. I'll post here when I get it.
