Got a CLI on my Chase Freedom card by calling the number on the back. No pull on any of the three bureaus, although I apped for Sapphire Preferred one week prior and already had a pull on Experian then. Wonder if the two is related.
I had the Freedom for 4 months short of two years and never got any auto CLI.
I would keep an eye on your cb. you would be probably the only person in history with chase to get a request cli with out a HP

the inquiry are sometimes delayed, depending on what credit monitoring service you use.
even if you use experian's own service, there is a 24-48hour delay from my experience.
keep a lookout for it during the next few days.
grats though on the CLI.
I also got a CLI on my freedom yesterday with no HP. I do understand that a INQ may show up on my CR in next 2-3 days as monitoring services are not prompt.
btw, I have also applied and received a new chase card in last 30 days.

I pulled all 3 about 1 week and a half after the Freedom CLI happened. In another thread I mentioned that I called a couple times and was told a HP is required if I want the Freedom CLI, so the result is unexpected for me as well.
Another note, my Freedom post-CLI limit is about 3.3x my original limit and the original limit was about 1/10 my CSP limit (confused yet?
). So perhaps it was a easy enough decision for them such that no HP is needed?
I would like to figure out whether this is an effect of the recent app or because I am primed for one on Chase's internal file anyway. So please keep chiming in if you have a similar success story.
