Freedom Question

So, I am awaiting for my Freedom cards to arrive, just got approved last Tuesday....and To my knowledge if you spend $500 in the first 3 months they give you a $100 bonus, correct?  How do you all usually use/take that?  Is it a check, statement credit?  Thanks everyone!

Re: Freedom Question

It's 10000 ultimate reward points, can be $100 check or statement credit through chase web site.
BUT my suggestion is save it if you do not need that $100 now, since when/if you get CSP later on these lowly 10K UR points can be much much more valueable, it's 1/3 of economy or 1/8 FIRST CLASS plane ticket to China

Re: Freedom Question

Awesome advice!!  Thank you very much.  I will kind of "save them/hold them" then.  I don't need them right away.  Eventually I would like to get another card with them, but that will certainly be awhile.  Thats pretty cool that you can hold them.  My scores were at the time they pulled EQ 628 and EX 675.  I had to Recon since I have a 2 plus year BK7.  Very thankful to be approved.

Re: Freedom Question

Congrats on the approval. You will get 10k points the first statment after you hit the $500 spend. If you choose to redeem for cash back, takes about 3 business days to get it back
