Did anyone else get the merger letter?  I got mine in the mail today.  So, I'll have two cap one tradelines now?

Pretty much AFAIK, my merger letter came late last week.  Figures, I'd avoided Cap One when I opened my tradelines, and now I have one regardless .

I received one yesterday as well. Funny thing is; I closed my HSBC card in January. I wonder if CapOne will still issue me a new card.

I received a letter yesterday.  I have the HSBC Direct Rewards Discover.  Now it's Capital One. I guess I'll never see a CLI on that puppy.

Unfortunately, I got a letter re: a card that I closed with HSBC last summer.  I was fed up dealing with them!  Then a few months ago, I received a Credit Watch notification that there was a balance on this very closed account.  I called HSBC - long story short, i had to pay for a charge they allowed on a current account.. which they opnened once that charge came through.  I paid and told them to close it.

Now that I have this letter, I am afraid that this account is opened somewhere.  I called Cap 1, they said the account is not in their system as, yet.  I called HSBC and they insist that it is now closed.  This is the account  that just will not go away.  I have to wait a few more days before calling Cap1  again to see if they have any additional information for me.

Ummmm what to do with my Cap 1 since 2010 and Orchard card since 2011. I have prime cards now.The Utilization. I really don't care about. Bring the better primes.
