LAST APP FOR THE DECADE AMEX BLUE

Well I think I may have came down tonight with credit card itchy finger feverLOL but tonoc went on-line and app'd for the blue amex and it was approved although the site does not tell you what limit or what apr. Although now I can cancel my charge card next month before fee hits with the gold.  This is it for me as my scores will now definitely tank to a all time LOW.  This month Discover More and Amex Blue now.

Anyone with this card when will I find out cl and apr, is it when the card arrives or through email

Also can I transfer my current rewards points to the Amex Blue or do I have to use them now before I cancel my premier gold card

I found out when my card arrived (less than one week) but only when I activated it and it showed me the limit online.  Maybe a CSR can tell you if you call.  Sorry, I can't answer your question about the rewards.

AFAIK, Blue isn't in the same rewards program as Gold and other classic AmEx charge cards.

I used all my Gold points for goodies like gift cards for Chris's Ruth's Chris's Whichever Steakhouse and PF Chang and whatnot.

When I read the details, it didn't look like they'd transfer, so I cashed out just to be sure.

Go to www.americanexpress.com/applicationstatus, enter your info, it will tell you that you've been approved and show a number for any questions. Call that number and the automated system will tell you your limit. For the APR, I had to wait until I actually received the card, if your score was above 720, more than likely you've got tier 1.

I want to thank everyone for the feedback, I did call the automated system today and I almost fell out of the chair when it stated, and your cl is $8,000.00 and  to tell you the truth I still do not believe it  I just wonder how AMEX scoring system works, just have to actually wait until I recieve this card.   Also another hard inquiry though.  I'll keep this forum posted, thanks for the help and support.

It will be 2019, I have enough credit now, just need to let my accounts age as my AAoA is terrible, and my credit scores rebuild after this app spree.
