Maybe I'm not in AMEX's blacklist anymore? UPDATED denied

[ Edited ]

Do the app every month and instantly denied, not even a hard pull. Today I tried again and...

"Thank you for applying for the Blue Cash EverydaySM from American Express. Your application has been received and will be processed as soon as possible and we will notify you of the decision by mail within 14 days.
Thank you for applying."

Checked EXP backdoor but not hard pull there, maybe because of the fraud alert? Maybe they went for TransUnion? Just happy to see I wasn't instantly denied. :smileyhappy:

I'd call, es[ecially if you have an FA.  I apped back to back for 2 cards in Aug.  With the 2nd app, I got the message.  They needed to verify my identity.

I burned them with 3 cards back in 2005 for about 35K. In the past it was instant denied when I applied.

I would call them if I were you. Why wait 14 days.
