Wanted to post:

DGF went on a mini app spree last night - success rate 2 out of 3 cards approved...

Discover More - Apped online - pulled TU - dont know the score... Approved 2K

Chase Freedom - Apped online. EQ 721 - Approved 3K

Citi Forward - Denied - pulled EXP - score unknown - tried to recon - apparently they dont use FICO and use an internal scoring method as told to me by their credit analyst supervisor - denied due to high util on two cards - cap 1 balance 450 on 750 CL and BofA 700 balance on 1000 CL. Total util is like 1000 over 8K CL.

Anyway - 2/3 approved is not too shabby...

I would pay off the BofA card, maybe transfer to one of these new accounts and then ask them to match the CL on your new accounts.

Congrats on the 2 you got, wait 30 days and apply for citi again if you pay those 2 cards off... with the new lines reporting by then, I would think you would be approved.

Yeah, I recommended the actions you said to follow to DGF but she says she is not gonna bother with Citi again and she has already taken the two hits with them - think DGF is just going to apply for the penfed visa instead since they already pulled her bureau for her auto refi at 2.99%.
