except I only have the Promise .. which has 5% for a year... but no fee. I wouild rather have taken the fee and takne 0% especially with the amount I BT'd

Smarzig why not call and open the rewards card ? You can always shift some of your CL to the new card if your new CL is not sufficient for you...
