The DW and I are walking in Saturday morning.
She's going to be an AU to start so we can count her income and use HHI.
With the current scores I am sitting on (see below) and our HHI (130k), does anyone want to venture a guess as to what it is going to be?
Also, do you have to specify what amount you want or can you just say "Whatever I can get"?
It all depends on what's in your file.
I was just approved for the cashRewards last Friday w/ a $2500 CL. They pulled EQ for me. The scores in my signature are what was pulled when I apped.
As an example I have some lates on my mortgage with the oldest late being 8 months old, a CC with 58% util, and AAoA of 14 yrs.
I think we've determined that they're really off the wall, haha.
I app'ed on the 6th and was instantly approved (online) for a $7K cashRewards Visa. My score is not great, my CR is very thin and most of it is paid charge offs. I had one open (Barclaycard) Visa for $500 that is current but haven't app'ed for anything credit-related in five years. Also, I've been a member of NFCU for 28 years, but don't know if that has anything to do with it but I was given a larger limit than some 700 scores here.
I'm sure they'll have no trouble getting a CLI, though.
AAOA 3.9 years
9.9 oldest account
No lates since Feb. 2010 (worst was a 60, total of 2-30's and 2-60's)
21% util.
1 paid med collection ($17 before being paid)
100k in student loans
10k in car payment
One charge off in 2007 that was paid.
Total of 4 CC's, 3 Student loans, 1 car loan.

They are very generous... They may be able to refi your car for you at a better rate too, unless your car is already with them. They saved me 3.5% on auto, and gave me a $250 dollar bonus for the refi into the sharesavings account. My personal annual income was 121k when I applied. I sent them copies of my bank account statements, paychecks, W-2s, and retirement account statements when I did the refi on the truck. At that time the checking and savings accounts had combined 20k in it, and the retirement accounts had a combined 60k in them. I'm sure that had something to do with the limit I was granted >.<
If you want them to consider you for a high limit, bring in your docs
My DH was approved for the CashRewards card with a $5k limit. Member at the time for appox. 4 months. Small DD from paycheck to checking and savings. His EQ score at the time was between 650-660 ish. He had two unpaid collections and 2 unpaid co's at the time. This was in instant online app too. No proof of income was requested.
