WF CLI Success!

So I've had my WF Rewards card since May 2012 and started at a $4,600 limit, just below the $5,000 benchmark. I tried about two months ago to get it raised to over $5,000 and they said I did not have my card long enough.

Long story short, I just called and asked for $6,000 and they came back with an instant approval at $5,800! Lol.

Does this mean that I've entered "prime land" of over $5,000? What things could potentially be available to me down the road?

Thanks all!

It was a soft pull. I actually work for Wells and when a CLI is asked for , it is internal. If you ask above 10k then they potentially could do a hard pull but will tell you before hand.

Thanks all.

Does it benefit me at all that the card is above 5k?

Re: WF CLI Success!

Not all WF CLIs are SP. Sometimes if you're denied they will put it through for "further processing" which means a HP

Not really unless you wanted to be converted to a Visa Signature card, which I believe Wells is not a part of.
