I currently have 2 credit cards, one is a Chase Disney Visa. I originally got the card and put a trip to Disney on it. I was able to use the rewards and it worked out well.
Just recently the local Disney store closed, now the rewards are useless to me.
-Does Chase allow people to switchover from one Chase card to another?
-Would my credit limit and intrest rate(5.99V) change?
-Are all reps informed on this(aka any special # to call/department to ask for)?
Thanks!
Chase is one of the few ccc's I don't have to call numerous times to get an answer to a question. I would call the number on the back of your card and explain about the Disney store closing and you would like the Freedom for the rewards.
If you check the website for the regular Freedom card, you may see the rewards structure has recently changed, so you may want to go over it again first. I went with the Freedom Plus and the rewards are still intact. It does have the $30 AF, but IMO, it is well worth it.
No Annual fee either.

Someone did some changing over the weekend. Personally, I am glad to see they have put it back like it was. They had seriously reduced the rewards structure on it.
Oh the AF is on the Freedom PLUS.

What should I ask for the switchover?Any key words to get the reps to do it?
Ask them to convert it to the Freedom card. You want to make sure they keep the history and not just open up a new account. You may have to ask if it can keep the same APR as well.
