balance transfer question

Chase has offered a 0 % rate for a year but will not send a check. Is it easy to transfer to an overdraft account at Citibank or a loan and not transfer to another cc? Is it as simple as entering the account # or will it confuse the Chase if it is not to another cc?  Thank you

Usually offers for an existing card include a check option. If the offer is for an existing card, what reason was given for not providing a check? Is it a fairly new account?

A 0% new card offer usually provides a check option as part of the welcome package.

In any event, do you have a HELOC by any chance? That is the easiest way to cash out a BT.

Re: balance transfer question

I BTed into my bank account and I had to call to provide a routing number and bank account number. If you do put in the bank account number and it doesn't work, Chase will probably give you a call to help you out over the phone.
