question

Has anyone else notice that when you leave a big balance on your credit cards it takes a long time for your reports to update your balance? I purposely left big balances on 2 CC that has been reporting on the same day since i had them. Now that I left the big balances on them and PIF they have yet to report. One should have updated on the 24th and the other one should have reported 29th. But my other cards with low balances that was due on the 28th, 29th has already updated. I want to check my fico but can't until they update.

Re: question

Same thing is happening to me.  Make a $20 minimum payment and they show up like clock work.  PIF and it takes 2 months to show up.  I don't need a roof to fall on my head.  I'm pretty sure it's the CCC's attempting to manipulate our scores so we can't get new and better cards.  I recently filed an in depth report about these practices to the FTC.  I have found the sub-prime slime to be the biggest culprits.  They jack you any way they can.  NEVER, EVER  forget that either.

I have seen others report similar experiences but I have never seen this happen myself.  All of my cards report the same time every month, and I always know when they're going to report and what the balance will be.  They're virtually always right on schedule, as expected.  (Except for Amex on EX in January, but that wasn't because of my balance; everyone else seemed to have the same problem.)

Re: question

Are these credit cards or store cards? My credit cards report fine, but my store card refuses to update to show that a balance is paid off.
