AT&T Next Wirless

Can anyone answer this for me.  I have good credit but my average age is fairly low.  I'd like to switch to AT&T Wirelss and don't mind the hard hit but I really don't want it to show as a new line of credit and hurt lower my age even more.  Does getting the phone on installments show up as a line of credit or is it just the initial check?  Thanks!

It does not show up as a credit account on any of my CRAs.

I have 4 iPhones on the Next plan (0% interest or early trade program). I had to sign a loan ageement for each phone but none of them were reported.

As a point, I have been with AT&T a long time so no credit check was required when I took out the installment contracts. I guess when you consistently pay them $326/month every year they trust you.

Have you looked at Republic Wireless? I found it on-line and am considering trying it out when my iPhone is paid off in May.
