This is my first post "Hi!"
I am 20 year old male working and soon to be going back to school. My interest is finances and has been for a while. I also have been saving money and looking for great ways to use my money and wisdom for the better!
I have a little over $2000 in the bank (After spending a bunch on vacation

So it's not that hard for me to save some money aside.
However the wisdom is why I'm Here! I want to build credit, I want getting loans to be easy. (I also like the idea of getting rewards such as travel miles by using my credit card but I will get to that later)
Currently,
I have a checking, savings, and one $500 credit card all at the local credit union.
I have thought that using the credit card for every thing, then getting home and transferring money online from the savings to pay the credit card was a good idea. Well thats how the woman at the bank suggested I do it for a couple of months. Then go back to the bank and ask for a Visa rewards card which give me the travel miles or something else. Plus $500 More!
Now I have been doing that for a couple of months, food, hotel, little things were used on my cred card and I never went more then a week to pay it off. After reading "Credit Scoring 101" I'm not sure if that was such a great idea.
I have yet to go ask for the card cause I'm lazy but I hope I have not really messed something up.
I have never had my credit score told to me, I'm sure it was checked when I got the credit card and I was applicable for their best interest rates.
In The Past,
I did have a money market account at the same bank which I closed due to a legal ordeal that may have put a lock on my bank for a while. (Never did) This all happened a while ago and I have had my money back in the bank not long after.
I should not have any past bad credit, Never paid a bill late

In The Future
I want to build my credit and I know with my abilities I should be one of the most trusted with credit. I think I just need to prove it, but I'm not quite sure of the best way to do this and I'm weary of "hurting" my credit (this is probably because I don't know much about credit)
If someone would go as far as to give a very detailed "Map" of exactly what I should do with my position, you could change my life for the better.
AND OTHERS! I would love to share the wisdom!
I'm very interested in every thing that deals with MONEY. If you feel the urge to talk about something and it has only a little something to deal with my topic. PLEASE TELL Me.
I really look forward to keeping a close eye on this post and browsing the forums to LEARN! I get excited about this stuff.
