INQ and the 6 month date

I notice that INQs on my report are to the exact date.

Does an INQ from 06/13/13 hit the 6 month mark on 12/13/13 (for the purposes of "reduced effect on FICO scoring")?

Or does it technically hit that mark at the beginning of December?

That's a level of detail in the proprietary FICO algorithm that is part of their trade secret.

Re: INQ and the 6 month date

Rumour has it that inquires have a sliding scale effect on your score.  For example brand new inquires probably hit you with more pts than a 6 month inquiry which is more than a 9 month old which is more than the 1 year old inquiry.

Rumour only - nobody really knows what algorithm they have.

Starting Score: EQ 732 October 2007; Current Score: EQ 839; TU 865, July 2022;
Oldest Reporting EQ Account: 20.4 years; EQ AAoA: 9.9 years;
ACTUAL Oldest account 40.1 years; ACTUAL AAoA 19.3 years.
