Is it possible to get lenders to report to CRA's more often?

[ Edited ]
I just contacted my auto loan company and they only report to the CRA's every 6 months unless there is a late payment on the account.  Which i hate i mean why can you report a late payment asap but wont report that i am 3 payments ahead and my balance is steadly decreasing?  Is there anyway to get them to report more often?

What an idiotic policy. Not much you can do though. Technically, they are not obligated to report at all.

I wonder if you can dispute unreported payments by sending in statements.

Bad idea. There is a good chance the CRA would delete the entire TL.

The frequently of such sins appear to be growing--either that or my exposure is increased. Might be something worth banging on elected leaders for a tweak to FCRA. Require monthly reporting on monthly revolving or installment loans.
