I think the only reasonable decision for a consumer is to manage their credit to have good TU and EQ scores and keep interest costs low and trust that the EX score will also be good. EX really leaves us no other choices.
Actually EX does provide a pie chart similar to what FICO gives you. You will notice slightly different weighting given to each category. I wouldn't say Vantage is worthless but not many lenders use the score.
