Debt/Income ratio...

when figuring my debt to income ratio, what all is included in my debt - are things such as utilities, auto insurance, medical insurance, etc figured in, or is it just revolving credit and installment loans? Also, I cosigned for my girlfriends car loan a few months back - is that figured into MY debt even though I do not make payments but am jointly ultimately responsible for it?
