I have a year old FHA loan at 5.875%. I want to do a FHA Streamline for a lower rate. What are the going rates right now and what are the costs if the balance owing is $121,000---the value of the house is $155,000.
If I may piggyback on your post ... how many points (if any) do most people pay for an FHA streamline loan? I would like to refinance, but I don't want the costs rolled into the loan.
