Help, any ideas?

I'm doing research for a friend of mine and since I've learned and gained so much knowledge using forums, I decided to reach out for any ideas. Here's the scenario:
She's a young hairstylist that owns her own salon (self employed), with that came a lot of personal debt in which has now led to bad credit for her. Her husband gets SSI in the tune of about $11000 a year. His credit is much better than hers but his income alone, just won't suffice. Is there a loan product that's available that will allow them to use HIS credit scores alone but include Harper income without using her credit scores?

Any help appreciated!

Re: Help, any ideas?

Unfortunately, no. Anyone on the loan has to have acceptable credit and the lender will use the lowest of the two mid scores.

Advise your friend to visit the Credit forum for some tips on cleaning up her credit.
