I'm thinking about going back to college. I am currently employed but would like to get a degree so that I can make more $. I am married, have 2 children, and our income is about 88,000. My scores are in my sig. Can I get a student loan? If yes, what is the best way of going about doing this?
~TIA~

You will need to complete a FAFSA (sorry it's been so many years that I can't remember what the acronym stands for anymore!) at: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/
You'll need your school's information in order to do the application. Have you been accepted to the school yet? You'll need to apply and get your acceptance, then you can get the process going. Student loans are awarded regardless of need, so yes, you can get them. They aren't score dependent either, unless you go for a private student loan - which I definitely wouldn't recommend as you should be eligible for Stafford or Direct students loans first.
For more detailed information on what you will need to do, go to your prospective school's website and look up their financial aid office. They can give you an idea of what their process is. That FAFSA link above has some good information as well.
I'm starting up my graduate program this fall, with 2 small children and a husband who is a full-time undergraduate. It's a challenge but it's SO worth all the trouble to continue your education. Best of luck to you!!
