I negotiated both of my PFD over the phone, sometimes CA wont give you a letter but will agree over the phone. I found that you can manipulate the situtation a little bit negotiate with only one person and dont pay the first time you have the agreement tell them you will call them back the next day. Now you have there number and makes them a little bit more accountable. Remember most CA just want the money, and will do what it takes to get that money. I also found it matters what size the company is the smaller the better.
