can someone explain the SOL ?

I live in delaware and the sol is 3 years. so does that mean i don't have to worry about being sued after 3 years?

You can still receive a summons beyond SOL, but if you were to answer it and go to court your defense would be that the debt is beyond SOL and you would win.

I would not worry about being sued. However, I would up my offers to PFD so they stop reporting before the 7 yrs are up and that will stop the calls, letters, etc.

Yes...but keep in mind if the DOFD is june  thy can file suit up until June 30th of the 3rd year.
