So, is this number going to Cap 1 or HSBC? There are several threads about the confusion associated with the HSBC-Cap 1 merger. Some say they are still able to contact HSBC and some say otherwise...

I am trying to sort out a HSBC cc CO. Cap 1 is of no assistance and Cavalry is researching the baddie.

The number I gave was for HSBC, if Cap 1 owns the acct obviously you'll have to contact them.

There is still a HSBC, whether or not your accounts are with them or Cap 1, I wouldn't know
