I use to have chase , citi , discover and amex
I was charge off since 2008 I am in the repair process my question if I PIF do I have a chance to get card with them again if yes how to approach it?

A charge-off is a statement of their determination that the debt is not going to be paid.  It has become "uncollectible."

That is a pretty tough assessment of a consumer.  Yes, I would presume that it might affect both their willingness to delete, and their future willingness to extend credit.

Can you offer extenuating circumstances other than that you simply chose to let the debt reach that stage?

And, just as important, that whatever the estenuation, it has now been overcome, and is unlikely to occur again.......
