I hate EQUIFAX, they won't remove fraud accounts.

@8in2years I am actually experiencing the same thing. I got TU and EX to remove some fraudulent accounts but EQ is claiming they are mine and is not removing them. Would you mind sharing the address or division you contacted in order to receive a resolution from EQ. Any direction you can provide would greatly be appreciated. Thank you!

Hello 8in2years!

I was wondering if you could share the number to your contact in the Executive Office of Equifax. I've been fighting them for months on an old bankruptcy. They flat out refuse to delete it and are saying 10 years instead of 7 years. Tranunion and Experian deleted it already, but they are being beyond difficult.

If the BK is a CH 7, 10 years is correct. If it's a CH 13, 7 years it's supposed to be removed. Now TU and EX may remove early if it's a CH 7, but they're not required to.
